“Berriroberri”, from Bilbao everis office, wins the Social Intrapreneurship Award
In this second edition, the jury granted the Award to “Berriroberri”, from everis Bilbao office, and a second place award was given to “Compra Social” project, form everis Barcelona and Madrid.
The everis foundation has given the 2017 Social Intrapreneurship Award to Berriroberri, a health platform that allows you to donate and receive Assistance Technologies (wheelchairs, canes, etc.) encouraging their reuse and, therefore, making them more accessible.
The award includes a trip to Japan to become familiar with the entrepreneurial culture of NTT DATA(multinational Japanese company to which everis belongs) in its headquarters in Tokyo, as well as a mentoring service from i-deals, everis technological broker with vast experience mentoring and monitoring entrepreneurial projects.
This second edition of the Award gathered together five short-listed entrepreneurs, all of them everis employees in Europe (Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid and Milan), which lead technology-based social projects. The panel, made up of everis representatives, decided to grant a second place award to the project Compra Social, composed of everis employees Barcelona and Madrid, for its social platform to donate food to nearby soup kitchens.
Through these awards, the everis foundation wants to recognize everis employees of our European offices who lead technological and innovative projects with a strong social component and impact on the quality of people’s life.This way, the objective of the Foundation to encourage entrepreneurship in favor of society and recognize the internal talent of the people who make up everis, is reinforced.
The award consists of 60,000 euros in cash and a mentoring program offered by everis professionals and other professionals in the field.
