The Grand Final of the everis Awards 2018 is here!
For the first time, the six finalists will present their projects to the attendees, who will vote to choose the Audience Award.
After a whole year full of preparations, the everis Awards Grand Final is here!
We are thrilled at the 1,000 projects that we received in this XVII call. Thousands of entrepreneurs from 20 countries of the world have decided to participate to showcase their big projects, all of them bringing together entrepreneurship, technology, biotechnology and digital economy.
Among all these candidates, just six have managed to reach the Grand Final, which will take place on Monday, December 3rd at Cines Callao.
But… who are our finalists and what do they do?
- Alen Space: development of satellites to democratize information.
- Echophone: pocket ultrasound machine for use in emergency units and primary care.
- FoxID: solution to combat document fraud.
- MJN Neuroserveis: device to register brain activity and prevent epilepsies, strokes, etc.
- NaviLens: new signage to guide blind people around common areas.
- VEnvirotech: startup that seeks to convert organic waste into biodegradable bioplastics.
The everis foundation, which has been committed to entrepreneurship and innovation for 17 years, aims to be a springboard that helps these projects in their development. We want them to be known, to fulfil all their objectives and, especially, to go hand in hand with the spirit of our Foundation: to give back to society a part of what we all have received from society.
The six finalist projects —assessed by a jury of experts— aspire to obtain the everis Award and the Audience and Press Special Award that, for the first time in this edition, will allow attendees to vote for the best project. So far the finalists have already received consulting services worth € 10,000 provided by i-deals, a company of the everis Group specializing in technological entrepreneurship. The winner will receive an award consisting of € 60,000 (non-refundable) and additional consulting services.
