everis foundation looks for the most innovative technological entrepreneur in Mexico
Interested entrepreneurs may submit their applications until 28 June, 2019 in three categories: New business models in the digital economy; Biotechnology and Health; and Industrial Technologies.
everis, a multinational business consulting firm, and everis Foundation, announce the launch of the third edition of the everis Award Mexico, aimed at identifying and rewarding the best entrepreneurial projects, characterized by their high impact technological innovation, which generate a positive change in Mexican society.
This year, the winner will receive one million pesos, as well as a direct pass to the international final of the Award, where he or she will have the chance to win an additional €60,000. The everis Award Mexico is open to entrepreneurs who are developing projects in the areas of New business models in the digital economy; Industrial Technologies; and Biotechnology and Health.
‘In everis we believe that the Mexican entrepreneurial ecosystem is one of the most active in the region. We have identified talent and great ideas, however not all of them come to reality due to a lack of professional support. This is why, for the third consecutive year, we promote this Award aimed at strengthening the business sector, thus contributing to the internationalization of projects’, noted Peter Kroll, CEO of everis Mexico.
Once the call is closed and after a phase of analysis of the projects received, the everis Foundation will call for the final of the Award in Mexico City. The selected entrepreneurs will present their projects before a jury of experts from the world of entrepreneurship, academia and business, as well as internal talent of the company, who are recognized for their experience in each of the categories.
In addition to this, if the jury so considers, the winner may receive advice from everis partners and specialists in technological entrepreneurship, in order to implement improvements in the project for its good performance in the global final.
‘We give back to society the best we get from it, that is, talent as the engine of progress. In everis, we are firmly committed to advancing the economic and social development of the population in which we are present. We are certain of the great potential that Mexican entrepreneurs have, who must believe in their initiatives and then present them to the world’, added Madián Morante, Head of Communication in everis Mexico.
Finally, as part of the new format, the everis Global Award will be granted during the everis‑talent-week, days dedicated to promote entrepreneurship through different activities such as seminars, conferences and round tables. Besides, the everis Foundation will offer semifinalist projects the possibility of participating in the Open Innovation Contest 10.0, an initiative by NTT Data, the Japanese branch to which everis belongs.
Interested candidates may register in premioeveris.com.mx until 28 June, 2019.
The award consists of 60,000 euros in cash and a mentoring program offered by everis professionals and other professionals in the field.
